are shared across Iris features. Starter also has 100 a month and Pro 600 a month. Studio's unlimited actions are the owner's; team members don't use Iris. Help and billing questions to Iris are free.
Shoot plans*
on Starter means three at a time, completed ones included: delete one to start another.
Market price lookup*
works for cameras and lenses, and is capped at 10 lookups a week on Pro and Studio.
Open loans*
on Pro hold one item or one kit each. Studio puts a whole cart on one check-out.
Site analytics*
on Pro shows visits, top pages and outbound clicks. Studio adds sources, conversion by page, devices, locations, busiest hours, photo opens and story reads.
Inquiry form*
messages reach you by email on every plan. On Studio they also land in your Pipeline inbox, where you can reply and book.
Gallery visitors*
who enter an email are matched to a client or saved as a new lead. Starter keeps them, and they appear in Clients when you move to Pro.

  • Yes. Starter publishes a real Site at geardex.app/yourname with 3 themes and 3 pages, an inquiry form and one client gallery, with a small GearDex badge. Pro opens every theme and section, Stories, your own domain and removes the badge. Studio adds live booking and unlimited pages.

  • Starter: 1 gallery / 250 MB. Pro: 1 gallery / 1 GB. Studio: 10 active galleries, 10 GB each / 100 GB total. Favorites, downloads, passwords and expiry work on every plan, and no plan puts a GearDex badge on your galleries.

  • Yes. Upgrades apply right away from the app. Changing between Pro and Studio, switching monthly and yearly, or cancelling happens in Settings → Billing. Depending on Stripe proration, a change may bill immediately or at your next renewal.

  • Nothing is deleted. When a paid plan ends, gated features lock and Starter limits apply: you keep everything you made and can still view, edit and export it, you just can't add more past a limit. Your published Site stays online, and your galleries stay live for clients to view, favorite and download; new galleries and uploads wait until you're back within Starter's room or upgrade. Every plan can export its data from Settings → Data & Privacy.

  • No. Clients pay your invoices and deposits through your own payment link (Stripe, PayPal, Venmo, Square, Cash App or any https link), straight to you. GearDex never handles that money.

  • Pro is $39/year and Studio is $179/year, billed once up front. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel, and the next renewal date is always shown in Settings → Billing.

  • There are no setup fees, and there is currently no free trial. Starter is free for as long as you like, so you can start there and upgrade when you're ready.

  • Refunds are not automatic. Once a billing period has begun, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law. The Billing & Refund Policy has the full terms.

  • Major credit and debit cards through Stripe checkout. Taxes are calculated at checkout where required.

  • Stripe retries the charge. If it stays unpaid, the subscription enters a past-due status with a 14-day grace period before paid features may be paused.

  • We use secure HTTPS connections for the app and Stripe for billing. If you need specific security details before subscribing, reach out and we'll answer directly.
